3rd Generation Hotze Homes
Frank Hotze has provided some notes which I will include on
the menu below. I will take a look and see if I can get a photo
of the Hampton house he speaks of. I should be able to come
up with some old photos of the Big Bend & St. George Place
homes Anyone who wants to give me some of their recollections
while growing up, please just drop me an email with the data inserted
as an attachment or just key it in the email. We can just keep adding
as we think of something new. I would also like to get some recollections
of the Hotze factory for those who had visited or worked there. I would
like to also put in data such as when people went into the service and
got out and the same for schools. Any data like life in the service and at
school would also be interesting to know. Where did you go to grade school,
high school? When did you graduate? How far back can you remember
going down to Mossy or Big River? Do you remember Mom & Dad driving
you down to Mossy as I'm sure Bob & I do? It was about a 4 hour trip and
I can remember watching Route 66 slowly being replaced each year we
went down to the cabin. Just as I added some audio clips from Dad's
interviews by Earl, I think it would be great to start taping some of our
own recollections. I than could add some sound bites of the 3rd generation
Hotze's to this website.
